Booking terms and conditions

These terms govern direct bookings of furnished apartments offered under the Les Terrasses d’Étigny name in Pau and made through appart-pau.com.

1. Booking and price

These terms apply to the rate and conditions shown in the final Beds24 summary before payment. The booking is confirmed after payment in full and the issue of confirmation by email. The price shown in this summary is the final contractual price. It may differ from prices displayed on third-party platforms. Tourist tax is included in the displayed total where applicable.

Card payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal through Beds24. Payment by bank transfer may be accepted only for a request made at least fourteen days before arrival; the booking is then confirmed only after full receipt of the funds.

2. Rates, cancellations and changes

Moderate rate

The stay is fully refundable when cancellation is notified up to five days before arrival. A change may be made without a fee up to the same deadline, subject to availability and any difference in price. After this deadline, the conditions shown at the time of booking apply.

Non-refundable rate

The full amount is due upon booking and is non-refundable, subject to any applicable mandatory legal provisions.

No refund is due in the event of a no-show. For an early departure, no refund is granted for an original stay of two nights or less, or for a non-refundable rate. For an original stay of more than two nights booked at the moderate rate, unused nights may be refunded if the revised departure is notified at least five days before that date; otherwise, only nights beyond the five days following notification may be refunded.

When a refund is due, it is normally made to the original payment method within an indicative period of five working days.

3. Stay

Check-in is normally available from 3:00 pm. The apartments are located at 50 bis Rue d’Étigny in Pau; access is via Chemin Robert Ollivier. Arrival instructions are provided before the stay. Pets are accepted only by prior request and after written approval.

Guests agree to respect the premises, equipment, the house rules provided and the peace of the neighbourhood. Any damage, lost key or clearly improper use may give rise to a substantiated claim for compensation.

4. Parking, charging and services

The private garage and advertised amenities are provided under the conditions shown for the booked apartment. Electric-vehicle charging is subject to the instructions displayed on site and the terms communicated before the stay.

5. Invoices and complaints

An invoice may be requested after payment. Any complaint relating to the stay must be submitted in writing as soon as possible so that it can be handled appropriately.

6. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
